Trusted Advertising Network, LLC (“TAN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides this Privacy Policy because we know that you care about how your information is collected, used, shared, and retained. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected from visitors through https://www.tagtrust.net (the “Website”). Please be sure to read this entire Privacy Policy. By visiting or using our Website, you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms of Use. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, then you should not visit or use the Website. Please note that capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms of Use.

Information We Collect and/or Receive; the Purpose of Collection and Use

Contact Information. We collect contact information on our Website from visitors that wish to obtain information about our work or join our efforts to build trust in the digital advertising supply chain through distributed ledger technology. Contact information is provided via browser forms or online forms, and includes first name, last name, and e-mail address (“Contact Information”). This Contact Information is used by us to contact our Website visitors, as appropriate, for the purpose of providing the requested information, to provide member services, such as participation in programs, tools, or working groups, or to provide marketing or other services (such as the TAG TrustNet). We may also obtain your Contact Information, or related information, such as TAG ID of your employer, from Trustworthy Accountability Group, Inc. (TAG); such information may be used for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Registration Information. If you would like to apply for TAG ID, you will be asked to provide certain information such as company name, company legal name, address, phone number, Corporate ID type, Corporate ID, business type, website address, date of incorporation, officer names, and country of incorporation (collectively, “Registration Information”). We provide your Registration Information to TAG and its vendors to validate the applicant company’s identity and meets the criteria to receive a TAG ID.

Other Information. In addition to Contact Information and Registration Information, we may collect or receive the following other information:

  • From Your Activity. In an ongoing effort to improve the Website we automatically collect certain information when you access and/or use the Website. This information consists of IP addresses, browser type and language, referring and exit pages and URLs, date and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, the pages visited on the Website, return visits to the Website and similar information concerning your use of the Website.
  • From Cookies. Cookies are small packets of data that a website stores on the hard drive of your computer or mobile device to “remember” information about your visit. We may use session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer/device until you delete them). These third parties use cookies and other technologies to help analyze and provide us the data. By accessing and using the Website, you consent, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to the processing of data about you by these analytics providers in the manner and for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Aggregate Data. In an ongoing effort to better understand our users and the Website we may analyze your information in aggregate form, and merge your information with other data for purposes of our reporting, planning, development, operating, maintaining, managing, and improving the Website. The aggregate information collected through the Website does not identify you personally; similarly, user level information (i.e., IP Address or Device Identifier) can identify a user’s computer or mobile phone but not the user directly (such as by name). Business Transfer

In the event of a merger, dissolution, or similar corporate event, or the sale of all or substantially all of our assets, we expect that the information that we have collected, including personal information, would be transferred to the surviving entity. All such transfers shall be subject to our commitments with respect to the privacy and confidentiality of such personal information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Disclosures to Public Authorities

We are required to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including for the purpose of meeting national security or law enforcement requirements.
